Hidden somewhere in the city center, a green jungle was discovered. My vision was to create a modern wilderness villa where residents could escape their busy life.
The modern volumes embrace the surrounding green landscape. 3 meter high glass windows frame different vistas of the green jungle and at the same time form subtle previews of the interior living areas.
They are connected through vistas but never directly wide open to one another. In this way, different levels of privacy are obtained within the large living rooms, each exuding their own atmosphere and warmth.
The cubist play of volumes is softened and naturally embedded in nature by using a chippered facade that is constantly showing subtle hints of authentic brick.
The result is a timeless architecture, a family home that blends the comforts of contemporary living with the serenity of nature, offering a tranquil sanctuary to relax and unwind.
